Steps

  1. Input the new phone number using the local dialing format required by the form.
  2. If extension support exists, set extension only when front desk routing uses it.
  3. Save and re-open to verify format normalization keeps the same number.
  4. Place a test call from an external phone to confirm correct ring destination.
