Customers -> Customer Management -> Add -> Create Customer

Before You Start

  • Confirm your team uses a consistent phone format.
  • Confirm your salon’s standard Customer Tags dictionary.
  • Confirm sensitive notes follow your salon privacy rules.

Steps

  1. Tap Add, open Create Customer, and fill Customer Name first.
  2. Fill Phone Number and Email as needed, then search by phone in Customer Management to avoid duplicates.
  3. In Customer Tags, add standard tags first; use Manage tags if the dictionary needs cleanup.
  4. Add objective notes in Notes (preferences, restrictions, communication reminders).
  5. Tap Save, return to Customer Management, and verify the new customer is searchable.

Acceptance Checklist

  • Required profile fields are complete (Customer Name, key contact info, tags, notes).
  • Customer Tags are reusable in future filtering.
  • The new customer can be searched immediately after saving.
  • No obvious duplicate profile was created.

Key Notes

  • Use neutral, operational wording in Notes; avoid subjective comments.
  • Keep tag names stable and avoid synonym duplicates.
  • Confirm salon context before creating to avoid writing data into the wrong salon.
