Before You Start

  • Confirm the current salon is correct.
  • Confirm category naming rules are aligned.
  • Confirm which services should stay active vs paused.

Steps

  1. Open Service Management and review current category structure.
  2. Tap New Service Type to create a category baseline, or use Add inside a category to add a new service.
  3. Configure each service with complete duration and price, then keep naming consistent.
  4. Tap Sort to adjust category/service order for front-desk selection.
  5. Verify the updated services can be selected in booking with the expected price and duration.

Acceptance Checklist

  • Category structure is clear and non-duplicated.
  • Service duration and price are complete for active services.
  • Front desk can quickly find services in booking.
  • Sorted order is reflected after saving.

Key Notes

  • Keep category names stable; avoid frequent renaming.
  • Pause or clean up deprecated services instead of leaving duplicate options.
  • Recheck list results after each change before moving to the next action.

FAQ

Services appear in wrong category.

Use Sort and verify each service is under the correct category after saving.

Report categories look inconsistent.

Historical records may still show old mappings; document the date of category changes.
