Align salon opening hours, booking constraints, and deposit policy to reduce invalid bookings and no-shows.

Before You Start

  • Confirm this week’s opening plan and special closed dates.
  • Confirm policy for Minimum Advance Booking Time and contact methods.
  • Confirm deposit percentage and refund/cancellation policy with management.

Steps

  1. Open Business Hours, set each day’s schedule in Weekly Schedule, then tap Save.
  2. Add or update special closures in Special Date Arrangements if needed.
  3. Open Booking Settings and configure key items like Time Slot, Minimum Advance Booking Time, and contact toggles, then Save.
  4. Open Deposit Settings, turn on Require Deposit, set Deposit Percentage, then Save.
  5. Create a test booking to verify blocked hours, booking limits, and deposit behavior all take effect.

Acceptance Checklist

  • Customers cannot book outside configured Business Hours.
  • Booking constraints are visible and enforced.
  • Deposit requirement and amount are calculated correctly.

Key Notes

  • Deposit Settings requires a connected Payment Account before enabling deposits.
  • Historical bookings are usually not auto-updated after rule changes.

FAQ

Saved changes do not appear immediately.

Reopen the edited settings page and run a fresh test booking.

Behavior differs between team members.

Check role permissions and whether that account has edit rights or View only access.
