Before You Start

  • Confirm this booking matches the correct customer and date.
  • Confirm your account can change status, view Activity Log, and manage completion photos.
  • Confirm your salon policy for whether completed bookings require photo evidence.

Core Areas You Will Use on This Page

  1. Info card: customer, service items, notes, booking source, tips, and coupon details.
  2. Actions card: status flow actions (Confirm booking, Start service, Complete service, Cancel booking, Check In, Mark no-show, Reschedule, Edit services, View activity).
  3. Payment card: view payment status and open order details (Payment Info).
  4. Completion photos card: shown in Completed status with Manage.

High-Frequency Status Rules

  • Pending: can Confirm booking, Check In, Reschedule, Edit services, Cancel booking, and Mark no-show.
  • Confirmed: can Start service, and also Check In, Reschedule, Edit services, Cancel booking, and Mark no-show.
  • Checked In: can Start service, Reschedule, Edit services, and Cancel booking.
  • In service: can Complete service; reschedule is blocked.
  • Completed: can Book again, View activity, and manage completion photos.

How to Use Logs (Activity Log)

  1. In Booking Details, tap View activity to open Activity Log.
  2. Verify the core action chain: Booking created -> Booking confirmed -> Service started -> Service completed (or the cancellation path).
  3. After payment collection, confirm Payment received appears in the log.

How to Use Photos (Manage Completion Photos)

  1. Open photo management only for completed bookings.
  2. Use Take Photo or Choose from Library, and use Reorder when needed.
  3. The limit is 9 photos. Extra uploads are blocked.

Steps

  1. In Booking Details, verify customer, service items, and notes are complete.
  2. Run status transitions based on real service progress; avoid skip-step changes.
  3. After each critical action, open Activity Log and confirm the record was written.
  4. After service completion, upload photos and sort with overview images first, detail images after.
  5. Before leaving, confirm status, payment info, activity records, and photos are consistent.

Acceptance Checklist

  • Status transitions match actual service progress.
  • Critical actions are searchable in Activity Log.
  • Completed bookings include usable photos when your salon policy requires them.
  • A random spot check can reconstruct the full service and payment process.

FAQ

Why can’t I reschedule?

The booking is already in In service or Completed.

Why can’t I see the completion photos module?

The completion photos card is shown only for Completed bookings.

Why is a key action missing in Activity Log?

Check whether the action was done in offline or weak-network conditions. If still missing after refresh, add a manual note and escalate for investigation.
