Before You Start

  • Confirm gift-card policy (refundability, transferability, validity).
  • Align redemption and refund process for the store.
  • Confirm current account has issue/redeem/detail permissions.

Steps

  1. Open Gift Card Products, tap create (New Stored Value Card or New Service Card), then set value, validity, and usage rules.
  2. Open Issue New Card, select product, bind purchaser/recipient details, and submit issue.
  3. For redemption, open Redeem Gift Card, use Scan or Input, validate the code, then enter Gift Card Details.
  4. Tap Redeem, confirm amount/items, and submit redemption.
  5. Recheck Current Balance/remaining items and Transaction History to confirm changes are recorded.

Acceptance Checklist

  • Gift card balance/item calculation is correct.
  • Redemption history is traceable.
  • Expiry rule is enforced.
  • One card can be traced issue -> redeem end to end.

Key Notes

  • Redeem is blocked for Expired, Disabled, or Depleted cards.
  • For abnormal redemption (duplicate charge/rollback), tag the record immediately with reason.

FAQ

Action succeeded but list does not update.

Refresh Gift Card Details first, then Gift Card Management list.

Result differs from expectation.

Check card status, salon scope, and whether concurrent redemption created rollback.
